10 years ago I, a native of South Tyrol, got stuck in the Engadin. In the beginning I found the Maloja wind quite annoying, but now I am passionate about it, as well as the mountains and the diversity of the Engadin.

I started kiting because of Stef, you know her on the kitebeach for teaching and in the shop for her kite repairs. A few years ago she told me that I had to learn to kite, otherwise we would never go on holiday together. No sooner said than done, she and the Swiss Kitesurf Team trained me with a lot of patience. My then 2-year-old son, just looked at us in amazement at the first kite attempts.

Today, you can see me with a big smile on my face at the kite beach and at the kite school, which has become my outdoor living room. Even if the backroll doesn't quite work yet, the kite obsession has already taken hold of me. I am also a yoga instructor and together with my yogis I dominate the kite beach in the summer for Lakeside Yoga, early in the morning, even before the kites are pumped up.

These are my absolute favorite days, yoga at the lake in the morning, kiteboarding at noon and ending the day with a barbecue in the evening. What more could you want?
