Hello everyone! I’m Stef(fi), and I’ve been teaching for 15 years, mostly in Silvaplana, but also in various random places around the world 🌍- This is me
I’ve been heading to Soma Bay several times a year since 2011 ✈️. I go so often, I’m pretty sure the camels are starting to recognize me 🐪! But there’s a reason I keep returning to this spot over and over. It’s just a short flight, the wind is super reliable 🌬️, the water is warm 🌊, the locals are incredibly friendly 😊, and let’s not forget, the food is pretty amazing too 🍽️. So, I’d love to invite you to join me for a kite camp this autumn 🍂 – extend the summer, delay the winter ❄️. Who knows, maybe you'll end up loving it there as much as I do! ❤️

Meet Michi, our all-rounder and ultimate entertainer 🎤! He’ll be joining us in Egypt and, trust me, his infectious energy will keep you smiling and laughing all night long 😄. Whether he’s leading a group, sharing a laugh, or just keeping the good vibes flowing, Michi has a way of making every moment more fun and enjoyable.

And when it comes to kiting, he’s not just about the laughs—Michi is an incredible kiter 🏄‍♂️! Whether you're a beginner or want to improve your skills, he can teach you just about anything and make sure you’re having a blast while doing it. 🌊

The calm in the storm

Meet Chris, one of our long-standing instructors in Silvaplana. This year, he’s joining us in Egypt for the first time — mostly to teach, and partly to make sure the rest of us don’t completely spiral out of control. 😄

Chris is a fantastic instructor with an incredibly patient and methodical approach to teaching. He breaks everything down step by step, explains things slowly and clearly, and makes sure you really understand what you’re doing before moving on to the next challenge.

It’s probably no coincidence that so many of his students have enjoyed his lessons so much that they’ve begged to continue with Chris and Chris only. Once you’ve got him, apparently, you don’t want to let him go!

And then there’s his wonderfully dry sense of humour. Expect perfectly timed one-liners, the occasional raised eyebrow, and just enough sarcasm to keep things entertaining — especially when your kite has other plans. 😉

In order for a camp to take place, we need a minimum of 3 students. We will only confirm the camp once the minimum number of participants has registered.
