Snow kiting group lesson
The group lessons are taught in small groups of max. 4 students. You can also book as an individual and we will try to fill the group for you. We have a fixed block price. The duration of the block depends on the number of participants:

It is much easier to learn snow kiting with skis than with a snowboard. Courses are arranged at short notice according to wind and weather conditions. The group course starts at 10:00. The kite equipment and harness are included in the course fee. Every participant must have his own accident and liability insurance.

Course content:
Theory, equipment, flight exercises and riding.
Bring your own:
Winter sports clothing, ski or snowboard equipment, helmet and back protector (if available), sunscreen, sunglasses, ski goggles.
Requirements:
You should be able to ski or snowboard at a basic level.
Course fee:
CHF 200.-
Is to be paid before the start of the course in cash, by Twint or by card.
Infrastructure at the spot:
- Silvaplana: Sports center with changing rooms, toilets, showers, kitesurf shop, restaurant and kite lounge
- Bernina: No accommodation, we drive to a parking lot in the mountains. There are no catering facilities and no toilets.
Insurance:
Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participants. The Swiss Kitesurf GmbH has a business liability insurance.
You must bring your own ski or snowboard equipment for snow kiting. If you don't have your own equipment, you can hire skis or snowboards at Skiservice Corvatsch in the village center of Silvaplana.
Course schedule
Assembly at the meeting point (if possible, you should put on your ski or snowboard equipment before the start of the course)
- Consultation with the teacher about the level and gather equipment.
- 5 minutes walk to the training area
- 45 minutes basic theory and safety
- 15 minutes setting up and launching and landing the kite
- The rest of the course is hands-on individual practice and riding under supervision with feedback from the instructor. Is there anything special you would like to practice or do you have any questions? You can always consult with the instructor.
- At the end of the course you are free to decide whether you want to continue practicing on your own (rent) or whether you want to join another course (for an extra charge and according to availability).
- Final meeting and farewell.
